Autoweb.com Names Auto Industry Veteran Eric Rucker as Vice President, Advertising Sales
    SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 7 Autoweb.com, Inc. , the leading consumer automotive Internet
service, today announced that Eric Rucker has joined the firm as Vice
President, Advertising Sales.
    Rucker brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing management
experience in the automotive and advertising fields to Autoweb.com.  Prior to
joining the company, Rucker served as the Southern California regional manager
for Forbes Inc., where he was responsible for all marketing, advertising and
sales for Forbes, ASAP, FYI, Forbes Global, on-line digital sales, and
integrated communications programs.
    Previously, Rucker was account manager for Time Warner Co. in Los Angeles
and Philadelphia.  Rucker has also served as management director for the
Foote, Cone and Belding advertising agency, providing senior-level marketing,
strategic positioning and brand advertising plans for FCB client Mazda Motor
America.  Earlier in his career, Rucker was advertising program manager for
Toyota Motor Sales.  He was also vice president and management supervisor at
Grey Advertising, where he held management positions supervising accounts such
as American Honda.

    Rucker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing from San Jose
State University and has completed post-graduate studies in marketing at USC
and Texas Tech University.  He is a resident of Rancho Palos Verdes,
California.
