President and CEO of International Business Development Corp. Named to List of 100 Women Leading the North American Automotive IndustryDETROIT and LOS ANGELES, Sept. 6 Donna Parolini, President and CEO of International Business Development Corp., has been named to the elite list of 100 women leading the North American automotive industry by industry experts of Automotive News, a global automotive industry journal. "I am very honored to be recognized by my peers as a leader in my industry," says Parolini. "This is a very difficult and challenging industry with extremely high standards ... the group of women, many of whom I know personally, is a very impressive list ... I am very proud to be among them." IBD Corporation established a Los Angeles office three years ago to capitalize on knowledge transfer from internet start-ups. "The Internet companies have learned how to bring a product to market quickly through co- operation by developing alliances and relationships, and they are not afraid to use each other to quickly capture market share to increase share holder value while the automotive industry's traditional management system of 'anti- trust,' is very efficient at making profits," says Parolini. "Detroit and Los Angeles have what each other needs; one can bring new ideas to market quickly, the other knows how to make profits!" The 100 women named by Automotive News were selected following a long process of judging. Several hundred nominations were received and a selection committee of six experts honed the final list to 100 executives. These women are leaders in their fields and key decision-makers in their companies. Parolini is President and CEO of International Business Development Corp. which she established in 1987. IBD Corp.
