Federal-Mogul Debuts Champion's Revolutionary Wiper Blades at Automechanika

    FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 6 Champion has long held the
reputation of being a brand name at the leading edge of technology for
whichever product area it serves.  This proud tradition continues with
Champion's "X Series" Range of wiper blades.

    Already successful, the X Series has been re-imaged and upgraded to
include a number of groundbreaking features which will put the Champion name
at the forefront of the wiper blade market.
    The Champion Wiper Blade packaging has been re-imaged and modernised.  The
solid box now has a strong plastic hanging device and an "easy open" thumb
pressure point.  The strong red and black "bitmap" pattern, together with
excellent graphics, application details and information, give the new
packaging a strong contemporary appearance.
    The new blades have a unique "next generation" PE4 rubber formulation for
a superior silent wipe.  A new and unique aerofoil has been designed into the
blade to ensure optimum performance and a new combination "easy clip" adaptor
has been produced for maximum ease of use.
    Federal-Mogul, manufacturer of Champion brand products, has extensive
research and development facilities world wide and the X Series blades have
been successfully tested to 3 million wipe cycles to ensure that optimum
performance is maintained throughout all conditions.
    To coincide with the launch, Champion has produced a dedicated catalogue
for the X Series range.  A variety of new and exciting point of sale materials
will be made available to help boost awareness of the new blades and the
advantages they offer the motorist.
