Fusion Networks to Provide Portal Software to Argentina's Info Auto S.A.Leading Supplier of Argentina's Official Automobile Pricing Information to Create Consumer-Oriented Portal MIAMI, Sept. 5 Fusion Networks , a leading provider of One-to-One Internet marketing software, portal technology and content, announced today that it has reached an agreement to provide Argentina's Info Auto SA with Internet software and portal technology to create an official online source for automobile pricing information in Argentina. Info Auto SA is currently recognized as the leading source of Argentina's automobile pricing information and publishes its Info Auto magazine monthly. The magazine has a circulation of 30,000 and supplies members of the auto industry, banks, insurance companies, new and used car dealers, and consumers with official price guide information for pre-owned automobiles throughout Argentina. Industry professionals currently use Info Auto information to process consumer bank loan and insurance applications for automobile purchases. Software provided by Fusion Networks will enable Info Auto to create a customized multimedia portal with Spanish, English and Portuguese content serving consumers seeking to research and/or purchase an automobile. Argentina's projected Internet growth makes it one of the most attractive markets in the region in relation to the auto industry. According to A.D.E.F.A. (Asociacion de Fabricas de Automotoires de Argentina), there were an estimated 810,000 used cars sold in Argentina in 1999. The country's current household Internet penetration is estimated at 3.98 percent and is expected increase to 11.2 percent by 2003. For the wealthiest 15 percent of residents of Buenos Aires, the world's 10th largest city with 13.2 million residents, the current 26.5 percent Internet penetration rate is expected to jump to almost 75 percent by 2003. When combined with the current estimate of 1 million active Internet users and projected growth to nearly 3 million by 2003, Argentina should present increasingly attractive opportunities for the expansion of online automotive research and sales (above source: eMarketer.com, 2000). "This exemplifies the value of Fusion Networks software to the global marketplace," said Gary M. Goldfarb, Chief Executive Officer of Fusion Networks. "With the addition of Info Auto, Fusion Networks is now providing Internet software and portal platforms to companies and organizations either based in or representing the cultural interests of Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela and the United States. We expect continuing success in the expansion of our global sales efforts within each of the cities which our offices serve in North America, South America and Europe." "We are beginning a new stage for Info Auto," said Gustavo Bacaleinik, the company's Chief Executive Officer. "By incorporating the Internet technology of Fusion Networks, Info Auto will be in a position to play a leading role in Argentina's online automobile industry." Terms of the agreement include the sharing of revenues generated through Info Auto's portal.
