Top Aftermarket Sunroof Companies, Webasto Sunroofs, Inc. and Hollandia Sunroofs, Inc., Merge
                          Maintains Leading Position

    BRIGHTON, Mich., Sept. 5 The two leading sunroof companies
in the North American automotive aftermarket have merged.  Webasto Sunroofs,
Inc., Aftermarket Division and Hollandia Sunroofs, Inc., have consolidated
operations creating a new company: WebastoHollandia North America, Inc.
    Webasto Sunroofs, Inc., the North American aftermarket division of Webasto
AG, and Hollandia Sunroofs, Inc., the North American distribution channel for
Vermuelen Hollandia Sunroofs, The Netherlands, are now both owned by Webasto
AG.
    "We will maintain the Webasto line as the value leader in all segments,
and will continue to develop the Hollandia line as the leader in innovation,"
said Chris Connolly, the new President and CEO of WebastoHollandia N.A.
Connolly held the same titles at Hollandia Sunroofs, Inc.
    "With combined, technical, R & D, management, and sales forces, we are
offering the two, best quality sunroof lines in the industry, enabling us to
stay well ahead of the competition.  The Webasto line is distributed under the
Solaire brand name, and the Hollandia line will be distributed under a new
yet-to-be determined brand name," said Connolly.
