Adrenalin Avenue President Wins Awards at "Run for the Wind" BenefitArt Hog Hits The Jackpot at Chinook Winds Casino LINCOLN CITY, Ore., Sept. 5 Custom painted motorcycle built by A.D. Cook, President of Adrenalin Avenue, took "Best of Show and Mayor Choice" awards at the "Run for the Wind" benefit held at Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City last weekend. A.D. Cook (former mural artist for Hollywood Video) tried his hand at custom painting the Adrenalin Avenue Art Hog Harley-Davidson Softail. The bike has taken top honors in the "Run for the Wind" event this weekend which benefited Oregon's Veteran Community. "I wanted to express my love for art and Harley-Davidson motorcycles in this unique motorcycle customization project. I'm honored that even the Lincoln City Mayor enjoyed it," said Cook after taking home two trophies from the Bike Show portion of the event. The Art Hog bike features a collection of unique automotive painting techniques including simulated wood in the shape of an artist's palette with paint rushing through and around it, erratic style pinstriping and a cartoon pig holding a paint brush and palette. Cook said that he had the help of many friends adding the custom mechanical features to the bike. The tank and fenders are made by Milwaukee Iron. "The high quality of the metal made painting the Art Hog a joy," said Cook. Joker Machine chromed billet pieces finish the look with an artist's theme. Just about every piece that can be is chromed, including handlebars, front forks, forward controls and primary cover. The "Hollister" ostrich style seat complements the paint colors and adds to the lowered effect of the bike. A.D. Cook is best known for painting the large scale murals found in many Hollywood Video stores. These murals have enjoyed international acclaim and have won national awards for their design and production qualities. The murals can be viewed at http://www.adcook.com .
