Hilite Industries, Inc. Completes Asset Purchase of Northern Stamping, Inc.

    CLEVELAND, Sept. 5 Hilite Industries, Inc. today announced
it has completed its purchase of Northern Stamping, Inc., based in Cuyahoga
Heights, Ohio with manufacturing operations in Cuyahoga Heights and Valley
View, Ohio. Northern supplies precision structural stamped and welded
components to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It is a sole
source supplier to General Motors Corporation of over 20 parts for the GMT800
series, the frame on which GM builds its larger SUVs and pickups, including
the Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado and Sierra lines. Northern is also a
major supplier to Toyota-North America. Parts produced by the Company include
engine-mounting brackets, cross members, underbody components, aluminized heat
shields, small welded assemblies and others.
