TeleVideo Invests in Alpha Technology, Inc.

    SAN JOSE, Calif.--Sept. 5, 2000--TeleVideo, Inc. (OTCBB:TELV) announced that the company has made an equity investment in Alpha Technology, Inc.
    Alpha specializes in the manufacturing of two-way interactive communication and automobile security systems. As a result of a cash investment, TeleVideo currently owns 49% percent interest in the privately held company.
