Forbes 'Enterprise of the Future' Tour Showcases Latest Advances in Technology
NEW YORK, Sept. 5 Forbes, the nation's leading business
magazine, and several leading global technology companies have created the
"Enterprise of the Future," a mobile interactive exhibit designed to showcase
the latest technologies impacting commerce and consumers today. This cutting-
edge exhibit allows visitors to participate in hands-on demonstrations of the
newest and smartest solutions for conducting business in the Digital Age.
Presenting sponsor Sybase, Inc., with Compaq, EarthWeb, Nuance, Reality
Networks, SpectraLink, Stamps.com, Toyota and Xerox Corporation will
demonstrate how their specific technologies address the challenge of living
and working in today's fast-paced world. "We feel the information provided in
the 'Enterprise of the Future' reflects Forbes' commitment to present the
latest business trends to the public," said Rich Karlgaard, publisher of
Forbes. "The tour provides information on everything from organizing
databases and paperless offices to wireless communications and supply
management. We wanted to embrace a wide range of technologies to ensure that
all audiences were addressed."
The largest traveling exhibit on technology ever to cross the country, the
"Enterprise of the Future" measures 57' wide x 30' long (approximately
1,650 square feet of exhibit space). The 12,000 mile nationwide tour will
travel to 30 cities through March, 2001.
