Dollar Rent A Car Purchases Memphis Airport Location

    TULSA, Okla., Sept. 1 Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. , today announced it has
purchased the DOLLAR(R) location located in-terminal in the Memphis
International Airport, from its licensee, H.D.F. & H. Rent A Car, Inc., for an
undisclosed price.
    The acquisition, which closed effective September 1, 2000, includes the
operating assets, improvements and franchise rights.
