Daewoo Market Share Continues to Grow with Record August Sales

    COMPTON, Calif., Sept. 1 The Fastest Growing Car Company
in America continues its torrid sales pace with year-to-date total sales of
47,256 which represents a 164% increase over the same period in 1999.
    Daewoo's August sales total of 7631 units is the company's best single
sales month since beginning U.S. operations.
    D.J. Lee, President and CEO of Daewoo North American Operations stated,
"Our continually increasing sales are a credit to the public acceptance of
Daewoo's total value story and our commitment to customer satisfaction."
