Dollar Rent A Car Purchases Atlanta Locations

    TULSA, Okla., Sept. 1 Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. , today announced it has
agreed to purchase the DOLLAR(R) locations in Atlanta, Ga., from its licensee,
Wilstemar, Inc., for an undisclosed price.
    In addition to an in-terminal location at Hartsfield Atlanta International
Airport, the acquisition also consists of a city location in Atlanta.  The
acquisition includes the franchise rights and the fixed assets, and is
scheduled to close on September 1, 2000, subject to certain conditions.
    "This purchase is consistent with our strategy to be a corporate presence
in the top 50 U.S. markets, Gary Paxton, President, said.  "Hartsfield Atlanta
International Airport is known as the world's busiest airport, and the
purchase of the in-terminal location as well as the city location complements
the more than 100 corporate-owned DOLLAR locations in the United States."
