BorgWarner Cooling Systems Announces QUIK-KOOL Aftermarket Truck Parts

    INDIANAPOLIS--Sept. 1, 2000--BorgWarner Cooling Systems has announced that all cooling components, including Kysor and Schwitzer brands, will be sold as QUIK-KOOL(TM) products in the aftermarket.
    On/off fan clutches, viscous fan drives, polymer fans, metal fans, sensors and radiator shutters will be available as QUIK-KOOL products for aftermarket customers. Products sold under the QUIK-KOOL label will be the same as those provided to original equipment truck manufacturers.
    "We are pleased to present a common brand - QUIK-KOOL - to identify a host of quality components that are available through our aftermarket channels," explained David Solomon, Manager Independent Distributor Services for North America. "Our network will include at least 15 master warehouses and more than 300 truck or auto parts retailers." Solomon manages BorgWarner Cooling Systems' aftermarket sales.
    Bob Holland, who is Director, Fleet and Aftermarket Sales said, "We will be marketing all brands of cooling system parts under the QUIK-KOOL name."
