Logica Appoints Carl Keating to North American Automotive e-Business Practice Manager
    DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 31 Logica announced today the
appointment of Carl Keating to North American Automotive eBusiness Practice
Manager.
    "We're seeing a tremendous shift in the way the automotive industry is
viewing Internet technology," said Dave Schwartz, director of marketing, North
American automotive.  "Their internal systems are so complex and operations
dependent that they must become eCompatible to communicate with their clients
and suppliers and further grow their businesses globally," he added.
    Keating comes to Logica with nearly 10 years of Internet and Web related
experience within the automotive, telecommunications and retail industries.
Prior to joining Logica's Dearborn office he was the Head of Product
Development for Fry Multimedia, an eBusiness-consulting and development firm
that designs and hosts standard-setting eBusiness solutions.
    At Logica, Keating will be responsible for driving the automotive
eBusiness consulting services in the U.S.  He will be working with Logica's
global automotive information technology practice to leverage the skills and
talents of its integration, application development, and mobile commerce
divisions.  Logica has been working with original equipment manufacturers
globally for over 30 years.
