World Omni to Hire Up to 75 New Local-Area Associates and Expand Operations
MOBILE, Ala.--Aug. 31, 2000--World Omni Financial Corp., one of the nation's largest automotive-related finance and leasing operations, today announced plans to expand its Mobile customer service center and hire up to 75 new local-area associates during the next few months.World Omni's Mobile service center currently employs approximately 430 associates who provide automotive retail and lease customer service activities for Toyota dealers in the Southeastern United States. The new positions will be in the areas of customer service, collections, accounting, and administrative services.
The new positions are being created as a result of the transfer of 130,000 retail and lease business accounts to Mobile from World Omni's service center in St. Louis. Toifel added that interviewing and hiring of new associates for the Mobile service center will begin shortly.
