Ruediger Grube Once Again Takes Charge of DaimlerChrysler Corporate StrategySTUTTGART, Germany and AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 31 Effective September 15, 2000, Ruediger Grube will again assume responsibility for DaimlerChrysler Corporate Strategy. The Board of Management made this decision at its meeting in New York. Aloysius Rauen will take over a new management task as Senior Executive Manager at EADS. Rauen succeeded Grube when he moved to the Stuttgart-based Haeussler Group to become Chairman last fall. Eckhard Cordes, DaimlerChrysler Board of Management Member said, "We are all very pleased that Ruediger Grube is returning to our company. In the future, he will use his exceptional managerial skills to further expand DaimlerChrysler's leading position in all world markets. Aloysius Rauen did an excellent job of continuing Ruediger Grube's work. His extensive experience in the aerospace industry is now needed to fill a prominent position at EADS."
