Superior Industries Awarded Aluminum Wheel Contracts by Toyota Valued at $28.0 Million Annually
VAN NUYS, Calif.--Aug. 31, 2000--Superior Industries International, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded new and replacement aluminum wheel programs by Toyota Motor Manufacturing of North America that represent approximately $28.0 million in annual revenue and mark a significant expansion of Superior's relationship with Toyota.The programs include newly designed aluminum wheels for the 2002 Camry, one of the world's best-selling automobiles, as well as wheels for other Toyota vehicles that will be manufactured in the U.S., Canada and Japan.

The contracts call for Superior to manufacture aluminum road wheels for four new Toyota of North America vehicle programs, as well as one new and one replacement Toyota of Japan vehicle program.
