iSalvage and iCARumba Announce Strategic Alliance
Online Partnership Ensures Highest Quality Parts
                       To Match Highest Quality Service

NEW YORK, Aug. 30 iSalvage, an Internet-based procurement
network connecting suppliers and buyers of recycled and remanufactured parts,
and iCARumba, the Web's leading auto services site, today announced a
strategic agreement to connect the best quality car care services site with
the highest quality auto parts site.
Ken Brookings, CEO, iCARumba said, "iCARumba.com will be the best thing
ever to happen to automotive service providers. We've developed this on-line
community to improve the profitability and quality of life of service
providers. Now that the Internet has provided an enabling technology that can
make that dream a reality, we're delighted to partner with companies such as
iSalvage."
The agreement gives iCARumba Member Shops a trusted source for recycled
and remanufactured automotive parts. iSalvage opens the parts market for
iCARumba Member Shops, reducing the time for collision repair shops to
purchase and receive recycled and remanufactured parts. In addition, iSalvage
manages the entire fulfillment process for its buyers and suppliers, including
customer service.
"iCARumba's goal is to make car maintenance as simple and as convenient as
possible for both consumers and automotive service facilities by helping them
determine which shops will provide them with the best service," said Jeff
Stotland, CEO, iSalvage. "Partnering with iSalvage is a logical step toward
achieving that goal. iCARumba can trust iSalvage to provide shop owners with
high quality parts at the lowest prices and the quickest delivery."
iSalvage officially launched its service in June 2000 after completing a
three-month pilot program on the East Coast. Each of its partner salvage
yards have been pre-qualified to ensure that buyers will receive only the
highest quality parts from the most reliable suppliers.
GartnerGroup recently selected iSalvage.com for its weekly Web site-ings
feature, which highlights online best practices.
