Car and Driver Magazine Names Daniel Pund Associate Editor
    ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 28 Car and Driver magazine
announced that Daniel Pund has been named associate editor at the magazine.
    Pund will be responsible for writing features, car reviews and
participating in all Car and Driver editorial activates.  He will also work on
the annual "Car Buyer's Guide," "Ultimate Comparison" and "Buyers Guide,
Pickups, SUV, and Vans" special issues.
    "Dan brings an enticing mix of new car product knowledge.  His experience
with hands-on road testing and interest in motorsports make him an excellent
choice for our team of car enthusiasts," said Csaba Csere, editor-in-chief for
Car and Driver.
    Most recently Pund was a road test editor for AutoWeek, responsible for
writing and editing all new-car reviews including introductions, driving
impressions, instrumented AutoFile features and long-term vehicle coverage.
    Pund received a B.A. in Journalism form Wayne State University.  He
resides in Ferndale, Mich.
