Michigan Rivet Corporation Announces its Results of Operations For the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended July 31, 2000

    WARREN, Mich., Aug. 25 Michigan Rivet Corporation
announced its results of operations for the third quarter and nine months
ended July 31, 2000.
    Sales for the quarter ended July 31, 2000 were $10,219,000, down 8.7% from
the same quarter in 1999.  Net income was $329,000 or $.51 per share as
compared to a net income of $447,000 or $.71 per share in the comparable
period a year ago.
    For the nine months ended July 31, 2000, sales were $32,263,000, down 6.1%
from the same period in 1999.  Net income was $1,420,000 or $2.22 per share as
compared to a net income of $2.42 per share in the comparable period a year
ago.
