Daylight Transport Adds New Lanes From the Northeast to the South
LONG BEACH, Calif.--Aug. 23, 2000--Daylight Transport, one of America's leading national expedited, LTL trucking companies, will be opening new lanes and expanding their regional services from the Northeast states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island to the Southern states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. "These new services will be available beginning September 5, 2000," announced Doug Waggoner, president of Daylight Transport. At this time, the service will be one-way only from Massachusetts and Rhode Island into the South. In typical Daylight expedited delivery fashion, the transit times will only be three days between most metro markets. In today's just-in-time business environment, Daylight is confident that their expedited LTL service will lead to decreased costs and increased productivity throughout their customer's supply chain.
"This is the third time this year we have added new expedited lanes for our customers," stated Waggoner, "and we're pleased to be able to provide these much-desired services." The addition of the new lanes complements Daylight's existing regional and longhaul expedited LTL services.
Spearheading the sales for Daylight's new service lanes are Fritz Gerwe, Midwest Regional Vice President, and Dennis Scholl, Eastern Regional Vice President.
