PH Group Announces $625,000 Order for Prototype Hydraulic Press

    COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 23 PH Group Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: PHHH) announces an order for a 1,500 ton hydraulic press.
The $625,000 press order received from a Detroit based prototype manufacturer,
will be used for compression molded parts for the automotive industry.  The
press has the capability to mold parts that can be as large as 100 x 125
inches, or 86 square feet.  When completed, the press will weigh over 220,000
pounds, and be over 23 feet tall, requiring the press to be installed in a 12
foot pit.
    A prototype press allows the end user to test molds and evaluate part
quality to specification prior to start-up of mass production.  This press is
designed to accommodate various molds allowing for the testing of different
dies.  While designed for prototyping, this press is capable of running at
full production.
    PH Group is a manufacturer of hydraulic presses from two to 5,000 tons for
applications in metalworking, compression molding and plastic injection
molding.
