Visteon Earns 'Best of the Best' Honors Among Top Suppliers

    DEARBORN, Mich. - The votes are in and for the third year in a row, Visteon 
Corporation has been named "best of the best" in Automotive Industries 3rd Annual 
"Quest for Excellence" survey.

    At an awards presentation at the Detroit Institute of Arts last night,
Visteon received top honors in three categories including Body Exterior,
Electrical Systems and Systems Integrators.

    This is the second year Visteon has been recognized for its products and
technologies in the Body Exteriors and Systems Integrators categories.  Survey
participants ranked Visteon's performance especially favorable for innovation
-- continuously suggesting innovative concepts and solutions -- in both of
these categories.

    The 3rd Annual "Quest for Excellence" survey, conducted in collaboration
with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, asked automotive manufacturers to rate
suppliers in 23 product categories.  Companies were judged on how they
performed in five areas: quality, price, innovation, delivery and service.
Survey participants made their selections based on personal experiences with
supplier companies.
