Dana Corporation Named One of the World's 100 Best-Managed Companies by IndustryWeek Magazine for 3rd Consecutive Year

Company also honored as 'Best of the Best' in Automotive Industries surveyTOLEDO, Ohio - Dana Corporation has been named one of the "World's 100 Best- Managed Companies" for the third consecutive year by IndustryWeek magazine. Dana was recognized for its emphasis on global growth, technology, and employee education. The list will be featured in the August 21 issue. "That Dana has earned this recognition for a third consecutive year is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Dana people worldwide. Their relentless focus on technology, innovation, and consumer value is essential to our continued growth, and to the continuing successes of Dana customers," said Dana Chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti. In July, Dana was recognized as one of "the best of the best" among automotive suppliers by Automotive Industries magazine in its Quest for Excellence Survey. Dana's Structural Products group was honored in the Chassis/Suspension Systems category for "consistently high rankings in the areas of quality, price, delivery, service/response, and innovation." Earlier this year, Dana was recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of "America's Most-Admired Companies," ranking in the top ten of the automotive category. Dana Corporation is one of the world's largest suppliers to vehicle manufacturers and their related aftermarkets. Founded in 1904 and based in Toledo, Ohio, the company operates some 330 major facilities in 32 countries and employs more than 82,000 people. The company reported sales of $13.2 billion in 1999.
