Trucktirexchange.Com Launches Personalized Approach to Truck Tire Buying and Selling -- My TTXchange

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Aug. 17 TrucktireXchange.com, the first
business-to-business e-commerce site dedicated to the $9 billion North
American and $25 billion global truck tire markets, today unveiled
"MyTTXchange" -- a new feature on the site which offers a personalized page
for independent tire dealers, distributors and end-users to more simply manage
truck tire and casing purchases and sales activity from one point of access.

"My TTXchange has been developed from the feedback of leaders in the
commercial tire industry, our members," Marc Imyak, president and founder of
TrucktireXchange.com said. "This new tool offers our members a 'big picture'
perspective of all their business activities using TrucktireXchange.com. My
TTXchange makes managing your business easy and provides you with quick access
to the entire site, including valuable market reports and industry news."

My TTXchange provides an immediate, comprehensive summary of an
individual's business activities in all areas, including tires that the member
is purchasing, tires being sold, want ads placed, filling of want ads and
notices of expiring inventory and want ads.

To make buying and selling tires even easier, TrucktireXchange.com has
added a "call for action" email that is sent out to a member once a business
transaction has taken place. To easily access My TTXchange, members log on to
the site and click on the green "Go" button located in the upper right hand
corner of the home page. Once a member accesses their My TTXchange page, a
list of business requiring attention will be automatically highlighted and
members can then take action.

"This is another opportunity for us to help the industry embrace the new
technology and the opportunities it brings to the profitability of their
businesses," Imyak said. "Truck tire dealers, distributors and fleets are
looking for simplicity and results. We are delivering both.

"Response to TrucktireXchange.com has been tremendous," said Imyak. "New
members as well as existing members are finding that the site provides them
with great pricing, volume sales opportunities and broad exposure to customers
they never would have been introduced to before. When we started this
venture, we had the goal of creating a new channel for the industry to
maximize efficiencies and minimize the costs of doing business. We're doing
that and it is proven day-in and day-out by the exponential growth of our
membership base, inventory and transactions."

Now in its fourth month, TrucktireXchange.com houses more then $15 million
in total truck tire and casing inventory, and boasts more than 475 members
nationwide. Launched at the World ITRA Expo on May 1, the site allows its
members to access a wide array of available inventory, post their own
inventory and post tires wanted. In addition to simplifying the buying and
selling processes, TrucktireXchange.com provides its members with market
information reports and extended visibility to potential customers via the
Internet.

TrucktireXchange.com, founded in December 1999, is the first Internet-
based network exclusively dedicated to truck tires. Named by Forbes in July
2000 as one of the "Best of the Web" business-to-business web sites,
TrucktireXchange.com was created to serve as a forum for the buying and
selling of truck tires and a source of market information. The site is open
24-hours a day, seven days a week to the estimated 4,500 independent tire
dealers, more than 75 regional distributors and operators of the 11.7 million
vehicles worldwide by membership.
