ABRA Auto Body & Glass Adds Milwaukee-Area Repair Center

MINNEAPOLIS - ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today that it has successfully completed its acquisition of a repair center in West Allis, WI. This location was previously owned by Cara Collision & Glass.

When asked why ABRA decided to purchase this location, Rollie Benjamin, ABRA's President & CEO responded: "ABRA has been dedicated to offering the best in customer service in the Wisconsin market since we entered it in 1994. Adding another repair center in metro Milwaukee will allow our customers to receive a high-quality, timely repair at a location convenient to their home or office."

ABRA entered the Wisconsin market six years ago with two acquisitions in the Madison area. Since then they have added company-owned repair centers in Brookfield, Kenosha, and Oconomowoc, and franchise locations in Eau Claire and on North 76th Street in Milwaukee. The addition of the West Allis location is consistent with ABRA's long-term strategy to expand service in the Wisconsin market.

According to Nancy Neumann, Vice President of ABRA-Wisconsin, "We are very excited about the opportunity this acquisition affords our current and future customers, our insurance partners, and the ex-Cara employees that we are able to bring into the ABRA team." Neumann, a former owner of M-P Enterprises, Brookfield, WI, that was purchased by ABRA in 1998, continued, "My partner, Brian Monroe, and I had owned M-P Enterprises for more than twenty years, but we have never looked back since developing our relationship with ABRA. As a corporation, we stand behind the service we perform for our customers, and give our team members industry-leading wages and benefits. I'm proud to be affiliated with a company that stands for quality, safety, and the highest in customer satisfaction."

In addition to collision repair, ABRA-Wisconsin also offers auto glass repair and replacement. Future plans call for adding Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) to enhance their current line of services.

Terms of the West Allis acquisition were not disclosed.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass is a national damaged vehicle repair company specializing in collision repair, paintless dent removal, and auto glass repair and replacement. Started with one repair center in 1984, they have grown to sixty-seven facilities in ten states. Their plans for accelerated national growth over the next several years include acquiring existing facilities and building new locations.
