CARB Chairman Attends Opening of New IMPCO FacilityIRVINE, Calif. - IMPCO Technologies, Inc. announced today the opening of its New IMPCO Advanced Vehicle Concepts Center in Lake Forest, California. Opening remarks were given by California Air Resources Board Chairman, Dr. Alan Lloyd. IMPCO's latest facility expansion is required to accommodate IMPCO's major automaker customers (OEMs) requirements for Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) and Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) rapid prototyping of advanced fuel system components and to quickly develop and integrate vehicle level systems. The IMPCO Advanced Vehicle Concepts Center will deploy all of the disciplines necessary to take a Fuel Cell Vehicle or Alternative Fuel Vehicle from concept to commercialization, including product development, integration, validation, certification, service engineering and after sales support. IMPCO's "system" approach ensures the performance optimization of the vehicle including, drivability, performance, reliability, fuel economy, emission compliance and safety.
