Formula: US F3 on the right track

Chicago, IL--- As the United States Formula Three Championship Powered by Volkswagen
prepares itself for rounds five and six at Circuit Saint-Croix in Quebec, Canada,
it seems now is a good time to look at just what this new series has to offer.
Keith Duesenberg of Denver, CO., the head of the Duesenberg Brothers Racing sponsored
by Western Union, believes that with all the positive interests and remarks he
has received from drivers, teams and sponsors all over the world, that this series
will be here for a long time, and will be accepted throughout the United States
and the world.
Duesenberg went on to say "I have received confirmation and inquires from other
drivers in open wheeled series that are looking at possible opportunities next
year. I see the series gaining acceptance worldwide and drivers form Europe
and other parts of the world coming over here to participate in the series because
of the exposure they will get here. The USF3 is a great stepping-stone to other
series, for us it offers a lot for the drivers and for the teams who are looking
to mature. I definitely see the series continuing to grow and Duesenberg Brothers/Western
Union team to grow with it, I plan on using it as an ability to bring up drivers
through the ranks, I would love to be able to develop drivers through this series,
and bring them to the point where we can go to the Indianapolis 500." Duesenberg's
current driver is Adam Andretti. Adam is the brother of John, nephew of Mario,
cousin of Michael. He drives the Duesenberg Brothers Racing/Western Union Dallara
F300.
George Frazier of Louisville, KY., driver of the Arcadia Motorsports Dallara
F300, is also an avid supporter of the USF3 concept. Frazier says, "These are
the best cars I ever raced. They are fantastic. They are very nimble. This
series brings American racing inline with the rest of the world as a way to reach
Formula 1. Everybody in Formula 1 and almost everybody in CART drove Formula
Three. That is the reason these cars are the best." Euro International prepares
the Frazier car.
Teddy Pilette of Brussels, Belgium, a former Formula 1 driver and two-time European
Formula 5000 champion, is also a staunch believer in Formula 3 in America. "USF3
is the exact formula America needs." Pilette runs a Dallara F399 in the American
series. He has also run his own team in the prominent German championship the
past two seasons. "U.S. Formula 3 will grow for sure."
Given all the positive enthusiasm from at home and abroad it seems that the USF3
is on the right track in making this a successful series, providing excitement
and opportunities for both the teams and the sponsors.
