Teleflex Declares Dividend

    PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - Teleflex Incorporated announced that its Board of Directors took action to declare a cash dividend of fifteen cents ($0.15) per share of common stock. This dividend is payable September 15, 2000 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 25, 2000.

    Teleflex is a diversified industrial company with worldwide sales of more than $1.6 billion. Its businesses serve the automotive, marine, industrial, medical and aerospace industries. Teleflex has increased its cash dividend to shareholders in each of the 23 years since it began paying dividends in 1977.
