Ford Motor Company Honors Suppliers in 38-City Road ShowDETROIT, Aug. 7 In an effort to recognize and show appreciation for its suppliers, Ford Motor Company is bringing its 2001 model year vehicles to suppliers throughout the Metro Detroit area as part of the "Ford Supplier Partner Recognition Road Show." "At Ford, we realize that everyone who helps to create Ford products is vital to the overall success of the company," said Chris Theodore, Vice President, North America Car. "The Supplier Partner Recognition Road Show is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation and strengthen relationships with our suppliers." The Road Show will visit the following Metro Detroit Ford suppliers: Monday, August 7 7-9 a.m. Lorro Inc. Detroit Monday, August 7 12-3 p.m. Johnson Controls Plymouth Tuesday, August 8 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Superb Manufacturing Detroit Wednesday, August 9 3-4:30 p.m. Ogura Corp. Madison Heights Thursday, August 10 2-4 p.m. Webasto Rochester Hills Friday, August 11 11 a.m.-1 p.m. L & L Products Romeo More than 45 suppliers are included in the Supplier Partner Recognition Road Show. The road show highlights the new 2001 Ford product line, the roll- out of a new supplier vehicle purchase program, as well as the substantial grassroots investment Ford has made in local economies and the jobs created by Ford vehicle production. The week's events are part of the eight-week road show recognizing suppliers in 38 cities across the United States and Canada.
