Jaguar Reports Heated Year-To-Date Sales and Jaguar Fact

Convertible Tidbits
MAHWAH, N.J. - Jaguar North America announces record year-to-date sales in
the United States totaling 26,281 cars, up nearly 56 percent compared with the
same period last year. July sales results in the U.S. totaled 3,813 cars.
Jaguar XK Series sports car sales totaled 578, up nearly 19 percent
compared with July 1999. Jaguar S-TYPE sales totaled 2,179, up over three
percent compared with the same month last year. Jaguar XJ Series sales
totaled 1,056 cars.
"Jaguar sales results continue with momentum," said Fran O'Hagan, vice
president of Retail Operations for Jaguar North America. "Our XK series is
continuing to delight sports car enthusiasts who are always in search of their
dream sports car."
The Jaguar fact of the month includes two tidbits on the XK series
(XKR and XK8) convertibles: the most popular color ordered to-date is
Platinum and California is the #1 selling state.
