Daewoo Rapid Sales Growth Continues

    COMPTON, Calif. - July sales of 6,038 put Daewoo year-to-date sales at 
39,625 assuring Daewoo's claim as "Americas Fastest Growing Car Company."

    Daewoo's July, 2000 total represents a 79% increase from July 1999 and a
175% increase over the first seven months of 1999.

    Daewoo's continued sales success comes on the heels of an excellent #4
ranking in the just released J.D. Power and Associates Customer Satisfaction
Index survey.
