Bosch Names Jain to VP, Powertrain Products - Gasoline and Transmission SystemsFARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Robert Bosch Corporation Automotive Group has named Sujit Jain vice president powertrain - gasoline and transmission systems. In this position, Jain will have responsibility for managing the business and engineering of Bosch's gasoline and transmission powertrain products within the NAFTA region. "Sujit's knowledge, experience and leadership capabilities make him an excellent choice to lead Bosch's gasoline powertrain business team," said John Moulton, president, Robert Bosch Corp. Automotive Group. "We are happy to have him on board and look forward to further strengthening our powertrain business in the NAFTA region." Prior to joining Bosch, Jain most recently served as director, engine management systems and components group, safety products group, for Denso America. He has also held positions at Walbro Corporation, Unidynamics Corporation, Carter Carburetor and Gabriel India Ltd. Jain holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, India, and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. Bosch designs and produces precision automotive components and systems sold to vehicle and powertrain manufacturers worldwide. These include systems and components for gasoline and diesel injection, airbag components, ABS and conventional brake systems, as well as small motors, electrical and electronic equipment.
