Thor to Assist Cruise America Management for Acquisition from Budget

Thor Sales to Cruise Expected to be Approximately $30 Million Annually

 
    JACKSON CENTER, Ohio - Thor Industries announced today that it will provide 
financing assistance to Randall Smalley and Robert Smalley, Jr. to purchase 
Cruise America, the largest recreation vehicle rental operator, from Budget 
Group.  The transaction is expected to close by September 30, 2000.

    Once the transaction is completed, Thor sales to Cruise America are
expected to amount to approximately $30 million or about 750 vehicles
annually.
