CarMax Promotes Thomas J. Folliard to Senior VP, Store OperationsRICHMOND, Va. - CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc. today announced that Thomas J. Folliard, 35, has been named senior vice president, store operations. In this newly created position, Folliard is responsible for all store operating functions, including sales and general management, service operations and merchandising. Folliard joined CarMax in 1992 as a founding member of the used-car superstore concept development team and was a major participant in designing and launching the revolutionary CarMax concept in September 1993. Prior to his promotion, Folliard served as vice president, merchandising.
