Cryocon, Inc., Announces Appointment of Corporate Counsel
OGDEN, Utah - Cryocon, Inc., of Ogden, Utah, announces the appointment of James M. Retallick to the position of VP Corporate Counsel. Mr. Retallick will be coordinating all the legal efforts of Cryocon, Inc., a company specializing in Deep Cryogenic Tempering which improves the wear characteristics and effects stress release in metal, alloys, plastics and synthetics.Mr. Retallick graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1987. After five years in the US Army's Judge Advocate General's Corp., Mr. Retallick began a private practice in Ogden, Utah, with a focus on civil litigation. Mr. Retallick recently left this position as shareholder and managing attorney of the law firm of Retallick & Pace to accept his current position with Cryocon.
"We have a instituted an aggressive program to pursue multiple patents for the application of Cryocon's Deep Cryogenic Tempering (DCT) process in various industries, including tooling, mining, aerospace, automotive, electronics and specific military and industrial applications," Mr. Retallick said. Through extensive R&D, Cryocon is revolutionizing cryo-technology by identifying and patenting optimal DCT treatment profiles for most tool types, metals, and alloys.
Mr. Retallick clarified a statement in a press release of July 19 regarding patents held by Cryocon. "Those statements referred to future patents the company is pursing," said Mr. Retallick. Cryocon currently holds the patent to the process known as Cryo-Accurizing, which involves the cryogenic tempering of gun barrels to increase the barrel's accuracy, longevity and facilitates cleaning.
