Load Hog Industries Inc. Uses Air Bag to Turn Pickup Into Dump Truck

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. - Load Hog Industries Inc. of Aliquippa, PA has developed a
kit that uses air bag technology to convert pickup trucks into fully functional
dump trucks. The LOAD HOG kit consists of a small compressor, a patented air
bag made of bullet resistant ballistic nylon and urethane, and a patented hinge
and crossmember system. With a total installed weight of less than 120 pounds,
the virtually maintenance-free LOAD HOG can hoist as much as 4500 pounds to an
angle of 45 degrees in less than 35 seconds. When installed, which takes less
than six hours using normal shop tools, the entire assembly does not change the
normal appearance of the vehicle. With a three-year warranty and price point
under twenty-five hundred dollars, the turnkey kit is designed to satisfy the
need for owners of the more than 40 million pickup trucks registered in the
U.S.

"LOAD HOG is the first major aftermarket innovation for light trucks since
the snow plow," claims Load Hog General Manager John Kowalski. "We can fit
any full-size truck back to 1994 models and some back as far as 1973," said
Kowalski.

With a growing network of dealers supplemented by an e-commerce initiative,
the LOAD HOG name and concept are becoming increasingly visible in the
burgeoning light truck market.

LOAD HOG is continuing its product development effort and will soon
release kits for mini trucks.

General Manager Kowalski says, "Our goal is to be the benchmark supplier
in our category in all areas including engineering, innovation and customer
service. If we accomplish those goals, we will have served our market and
made a success of our company."
