Philippines Grand Opening
EL CAJON, Calif. - Composite Automobile Research Ltd., through it's wholly owned subsidiary World Transport Authority Inc. is pleased to announce that senior company executives have recently returned from a three week visit to the Philippines and Asian region.The highlight of the trip occurred on Friday, July 21, 2000, when company President and CEO Lyle Wardrop represented WTA at the Grand Opening of CBN WorldStar Philippines first fully licensed factory.
This factory is located on the former Clark Air Force Base, which is now known as the New Special Clark Economic Zone. On hand for the opening were members of the media, members of the military, public officials as well as prospective investors for additional licenses locally and from various regions throughout the world.
Company CEO and President Lyle Wardrop commented; "As was the case with the Grand Opening in Colombia at the beginning of the month, this was an extremely well attended event. From WTA's viewpoint it was good to see potential Master License purchasers from the region and from others parts of the world in attendance. Our company feels that once again we were able to demonstrate successfully the viability of both the WorldStar vehicle and our unique micro-manufacturing process. This was indeed a very successful day for our Philippine partners and we feel confident that this operation will serve as a springboard for additional operations to be set up in the Philippines and also throughout the Asian region."
Composite Automobile Research Ltd. and World Transport Authority Inc. serve the emerging world's transportation needs through in country manufacturing facilities, utilizing local semi-skilled labor to produce the WorldStar line of utility vehicles.
