Code-Alarm Introduces PowerTools for the Aftermarket

New Line of Accessories, Tools and Connectors Designed For The 12-Volt Specialist
    MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. - Code-Alarm, Inc., today announced it has 
introduced Code-Alarm PowerTools(TM), a complete line of accessories and tools 
for aftermarketsecurity retailers and installers.

    The Madison Heights, Michigan manufacturer of vehicle security, keyless
entry and remote car starters systems said the PowerTools line features more
than 300 items, ranging from transmitters and impact sensors to wire crimpers
and voltage meters.  All are designed to make work easier and more profitable
for 12-volt specialists who sell and install Code-Alarm products and systems.

    "We listened to our dealers, who asked us to develop and market the
accessories they need to install Code-Alarm products more efficiently," said
Michael Schroeder, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.  "The
introduction of PowerTools makes us a full-service provider of security and
convenience systems for the aftermarket.  With a single call, dealers can now
order Code-Alarm systems as well as the tools and accessories necessary to
install that system."

    Pete Stouffer, Chief Operating Officer, said that PowerTools completes the
loop that makes Code-Alarm a single-service provider to the aftermarket.
