Tracks: NASCAR Super Stock driver disqualified at Irwindale

FIFTH PLACE DRIVER IN SUPER STOCK EVENT AT IRWINDALE 
SPEEDWAY DISQUALIFIED FOR NON-CONFORMING PARTS

Irwindale, Calif. (July 20, 2000) - - It was announced today that the fifth place 
car in Saturday night's NASCAR Super Stock event, # 9 driven by Jon Wilkes, was 
disqualified in post-race inspection for a non-conforming chassis modification. 
 The Reseda driver will lose all points and prize monies earned at the July 15 
event.

Kevin Wood of Valencia, who finished sixth on the track, was moved up one place 
in the standings and awarded fifth place for the night.

The next race for this division is set for July 29 at the Speedway.
