ALLDATA Appoints New VP of Marketing

    ELK GROVE, Calif. - ALLDATA, the worldwide market leader in publishing 
computer-based diagnostic, repair and estimating information, technical service 
bulletins, recalls and maintenance schedules for automotive service providers, 
today announced the appointment of Van Weathers as Vice President of Marketing, 
Customer Satisfaction.

    "Van's strong background in high-tech marketing and customer-based product

    Weathers joins ALLDATA from the capital investment firm Tiburon Funding in
Lexington, Ky.  Previously, he was vice president of marketing at SCT Global
Systems and held senior marketing and sales management positions at Omron
Advanced Systems, Dataquest, Innovation Research and Motorola Computer
Systems.
