So. Cal Auto Dealer First To Rid Used Cars of Contaminated Air

18 July 2000

Long Beach, Calif. - The Mike Salta Organization, operator of 10 auto
dealerships in Southern California, has become the first agency in the nation
to eliminate contaminated air from the ventilation system of their entire used-
car inventories.

The company is applying a potent anti-bacterial foam cleanser called DWD2
into the evaporator case, the starting point for all air that passes through
a car's ventilation system. The product removes built-up fungus, bacteria,
mold and other contaminants that are present in virtually all auto evaporator
systems.

"Admittedly, like many in this day of heightened health consciousness,
we've only recently become aware of the health hazards that develop in an
unattended evaporator case, especially for persons susceptible to allergies and
sufferers of asthma," said Mike Kahn, V.P.-COO of the Salta Organization.
