LumiLeds Lighting Promotes Mark C. Swoboda to General Manager

Swoboda Will Head Up the Automotive Lighting Division

    SAN JOSE, Calif. - LumiLeds Lighting, the world leader in power LED modules for lighting, announces the promotion and appointment of Mark C. Swoboda to General Manager for LumiLeds Automotive Division.

    In this position, Swoboda will be responsible for management of the company's automotive business, which includes LED lighting products for interior and exterior lighting for the automotive sector.

    Prior to joining the executive management team, Swoboda was the vice president of sales for the Americas marketing region for LumiLeds Lighting. As VP of sales for LumiLeds, Swoboda was responsible for setting up the entire sales organization for the Americas region for the then newly created LumiLeds Lighting joint venture company. Prior to joining LumiLeds Lighting, Swoboda held various sales management positions at Hewlett Packard Company Electronic Components Division, including Eastern Americas Sales Manager, Worldwide Distribution Program Manager, and Americas' Distribution Sales Manager. Swoboda received his BS in Electrical Engineering at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
