Oshkosh Truck Announces Third-Quarter Conference Call

    OSHKOSH, Wis. - Oshkosh Truck Corporation announced today that it will issue its third-quarter 2000 financial results on July 25, 2000. A live conference call for security analysts and institutional investors will be held at 11:00 a.m. eastern standard time the same day.

    For the first time, the conference call will be available simultaneously via a webcast over the Internet as a service to investors. The call will be in listen-only format for on-line listeners. To access the webcast, investors should go to www.oshkoshtruck.com at least 15 minutes prior to the event and follow the instructions for listening to the broadcast. Windows(R) Media Player(R) software will be required for the broadcast and will be available for download and installation via the Oshkosh web site. Investors can also access the call on www.streetfusion.com and its partner sites, Yahoo! Finance, CBSMarketWatch, Individual Investor, and Money.com.

    For investors who are unavailable to listen to the live call, the webcast will be archived for 30 days on the oshkoshtruck.com web site.
