Carlisle Process Systems and Moody, PLC Launch Moodyparts, LLC

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Carlisle Companies Incorporated announced today that it has formed a joint venture with Moody PLC, a UK based engineering company.

The new company named Moodyparts, LLC is based in Chicago and provides a ready source of original equipment manufacturer's and alternative spare parts through a website (www.moodyparts.com) with e-commerce to Dairy and related process industries in the Americas.

MoodyDirect, a catalogue business selling OEM and alternative spare parts to the Dairy, Food and Beverage industries in the UK, served as the model for the venture.

Tim High, President of Carlisle Process Systems, stated, "Carlisle Process Systems, including Scherping Systems and Damrow, have always been innovative in their products and services. This joint venture is no exception. We recognized a decline in the service levels of some OEMs and saw an opportunity to develop a part of our business that is often overlooked. This joint venture brings together the resources and strengths of two dynamic supply companies to better serve the needs of processors. Our unique position as system suppliers allows Moodyparts to specialize in specific spares for product types such as homogenizers, pumps and heat exchangers."

Carlisle Process Systems, through its Scherping and Damrow businesses, is the market leader in cheesemaking systems around the world. Carlisle Companies, Inc. is a diversified manufacturer of products serving four major markets: construction materials, industrial components, automotive components and general industry.
