ATA Unveils Website With a Brand New Look and Customer-Friendly Features- Offers Internet Sale With Extra Discounts on All Fares And A Sweepstakes Drawing for All Website Visitors INDIANAPOLIS, July 17 ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.) launched a new website today, making it simpler and more convenient for customers to book flights, check schedules and take advantage of great low fares. The new site can be viewed by logging on to http://www.ata.com. "We're very excited about the new enhancements to ATA.com," said John Tague, ATA's President and CEO. "Now, it will be easier than ever for our customers to take advantage of our low fares and weekly specials. The site has a new look and streamlined features that we believe our customers will find much more convenient." For example, customers will now be able to book their travel and subscribe to special weekly ATA Net Fares(TM) directly from the home page. "Our goal is to give customers the ability to help themselves and to control their website experience, whether they're booking a flight or simply checking fares and schedules." said Bill McKnight, ATA's Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales. ATA has also partnered with Right Now Web Technologies to provide an enhanced "FAQ" section where website visitors can easily access the most Frequently Asked Questions, search for key words, and even e-mail ATA if they still cannot find their answer. Planned future enhancements for the ATA website include seat assignments, e-mail confirmations, and wireless access. "As Internet technology evolves, ATA's website will evolve to meet the needs of our customers," said McKnight. Highlighting the website re-launch is a promotional sweepstakes. Everyone who visits the new website can enter the ATA Sky High Sweepstakes to be eligible for a quarterly prize of $50,000 cash. To celebrate the website re-launch over the next two weeks, ATA is also offering a sale that features additional online discounts of $10 per off-peak round trip.
