Miller Advances to Build Key Automotive Alliances for CarsDirect.com
LOS ANGELES--July 13, 2000--CarsDirect.com, a leading direct online automotive provider, today announced that Mark Miller has been named senior vice president of dealer and industry relations.In his new role, Miller will continue to build and maintain manufacturer and industry relationships, oversee transactions through dealerships, and establish and manage dealer priority supplier networks.

Previously, Miller served as vice president of dealer and industry relations at CarsDirect.com, where he was instrumental in developing the 2,500-member CarsDirect.com Priority Dealer Network and in building the alliance with UnitedAuto Group Inc. and Penske Automotive Group Inc. (UAG/PAG).
The UAG/PAG alliance enables CarsDirect.com to serve its customers more efficiently and conveniently with UnitedAuto Group's and Penske Automotive Group's expedited vehicle fulfillment and comprehensive customer-service capabilities.
Prior to joining CarsDirect.com, Miller spent more than 20 years at Miller Automotive Group -- a privately owned retail automotive franchise group in Los Angeles -- where he served as chief operating officer and vice president.
During his tenure as vice president and chief operating officer, Miller Automotive was consistently recognized as a leader in customer- satisfaction ratings, as well as one of the top 50 automobile dealer groups in the nation.
