May Logistics Names EVP-CFO

CHICAGO - The Board of Directors of May Logistics Services, Inc., announced the appointment of John Klyczek as executive vice president and chief financial officer of May Logistics Services, Inc.

Klyczek was most recently with GATX Corporation as vice president of strategic initiatives and information technology within GATX Chemical Logistics. Previous to GATX, Klyczek held various positions within Inland Steel Industries.

May Logistics is one of 27 platform companies held by Code Hennessy & Simmons, LLC a Chicago based private equity firm. The May Logistics platform presently has two primary holdings; ServiceCraft LLC based in Buena Park, CA and Alternative Distribution Systems, Inc., based in Homewood, IL, both logistics specialists serving the packaged goods and metals industries respectively.

CHS developed the logistics platform in late 1998 with the purchase of ServiceCraft, followed by the acquisition of ADS, Inc., in 3rd quarter 1999. A search for an executive team to lead the growth and development of this newly formed portfolio commenced earlier this year, resulting in the hiring of Stephen Fraser as president and chief executive officer in May of this year.

Klyczek's extensive background in supply chain management, information technology, finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and new business start-ups demonstrates the leadership skills and strategic thinking required to aid Fraser in the expansion and grow this logistics platform.
