Hertz Expands Services to Include Pick Up and Delivery Service at Over 500 Locations

PARK RIDGE, N.J. - The Hertz Corporation, the world's largest car rental
Company, has expanded Hertz Local Edition, its local suburban network of rental
locations, nationally to include its popular pick up and delivery service at more than 500 of its 600 local,
suburban rental locations.

In 1996, Hertz entered the local suburban market and initially serviced
local markets in the Boston/New England, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and
Oklahoma areas. Today, Hertz Local Edition is represented in 29 states
nationwide, which offers pick up and delivery service.

"In the U.S. the local market represents a rapidly growing niche for us.
More and more customers appreciate the convenience of renting a car in their
own neighborhood, whether it's for a long weekend getaway or an alternative to
owning a second automobile. In addition, many insurance companies, automobile
repair businesses and car dealerships are recognizing the need for convenient
access to vehicles that local rental offers their customers," said Joseph R.
Nothwang, Hertz Executive Vice President and President, Vehicle Rental &
Leasing, The Americas and Pacific.

"Now with convenient pick up and delivery service at our suburban
locations, all customers need to do is dial the phone and we'll come and get
them," continued Nothwang.

Hertz operates a fleet of 525,000 vehicles from approximately 6,500
locations in more than 140 countries worldwide.
