Promotions.com Signs Agreement With CCG.XM for Hyundai Promotion

    NEW YORK--July 11, 2000--

Promotion Solution Developed by Promotions.com To Drive Hyundai Sales, Build Brand Awareness and Increase Traffic for HyundaiSmartLinks.com

Promotions.com , the Internet promotion experts, today announced an agreement with CCG.XM, the global e-business arm of Cordiant Communications Group, to develop and execute a custom Internet promotion for Hyundai Motor America.
The promotion is designed to drive Hyundai sales, generate additional brand awareness for Hyundai's new sports utility vehicle, the Santa Fe, and add to its database of anonymous demographic profiles.
The "Hyundai Freedom to Adventure Sweepstakes" runs through July 21 and was developed by the Promotions.com CUSTOM SOLUTIONS group. The promotion is featured on HyundaiSmartLinks.com, a next-generation automotive "launch site" created by CCG.XM that features a unique approach to online vehicle marketing - simultaneously serving information on the Santa Fe SUV while creating a unique, useful experience for the new Web user. With personalized content, a sweeping variety of lifestyle, entertainment and informational links and online promotions, HyundaiSmartLinks.com represents a substantial effort on the part of Hyundai to transform the typically staid automobile launch site into a personalized, value-added user Web experience that will continue serving useful content beyond the vehicle's launch date.
"CCG.XM understands that Promotions.com uses a unique combination of promotion, direct marketing and a scalable technology platform to give its clients, like Hyundai, the best solutions to meet their marketing objectives," said Steven H. Krein, Founding Partner and CEO of Promotions.com. "The promotion we developed for Hyundai will strengthen its marketing efforts by adding to its database of demographic profiles, creating targeted sales leads, while enhancing its online brand presence. We have developed promotions for Hyundai in the past and we hope to enhance our relationship with CCG.XM and Hyundai in the future."
The "Hyundai Freedom to Adventure Sweepstakes" offers participants the opportunity to enter the promotion daily for a chance to win numerous prizes. The grand prize includes one of the following three trips worth an estimated value of $4000: a white water rafting trip in Colorado, a helicopter adventure in the Grand Canyon or horseback riding journey in Santa Fe.
"We worked closely with Hyundai to understand their customers and developed HyundaiSmartLinks.com with them in mind," said Stan Smith, Manager Director, CCG.XM Irvine. "To that end, we selected Promotions.com to create a custom promotion that will enhance the information-rich Web site and help create a fun and valuable experience for consumers.
Promotions.com CUSTOM SOLUTIONS provides blue-chip brands with the promotion infrastructure and proprietary technology to run scalable promotions on their own Web sites and integrate their online and offline promotion campaigns. Promotions.com CUSTOM SOLUTIONS uses Promotions.com iDIALOG(TM), a scalable technology platform that creates high impact, result driven promotions to increase trial, build brand loyalty and provide a measurable return on investment. iDIALOG(TM) generates targeted leads for marketers by delivering offers to consumers who have opted-in to receive information about specific products and services.
